Ice Storm Warning issued for most of Chicago area Tuesday evening

Highs will be in the 20s through Thursday.

There's a lengthy spell of freezing rain in the forecast for London and the surrounding area, according to a warning from Environment Canada. "Most of southeast Wisconsin will pick up around 0.10" of freezing rain, with as much as 0.20" in a few spots. "Freezing rain could persist for several hours Wednesday afternoon before ending in the evening or overnight".

"Patchy freezing drizzle will change to freezing rain early this afternoon", the agency said.

Winter weather also disrupted parts of California, Utah and Arizona. Winds NE 5-10 miles per hour. That isn't starting to be the case anymore however areas south of I-70 still have the possibility to reach the 40s with 30s further north. Untreated roads and sidewalks may become slick with a thin layer of ice.

For Wednesday and Wednesday night, a weak low pressure system will arrive with a period of steady precipitation likely. Four to 10 inches of snow are expected with wind gusts up to 40 miles per hour. Highs in the mid to upper 10s.

The weekend warms up to highs near 40° with a rain/snow mix on Sunday into Monday. Some sun returns to wrap up the week, but it is going to be a bit colder.
