Alvaro Morata - 'Never a thought' of leaving Chelsea this summer

"We have good players, we can do something magic, so it's good to have this kind of manager. I hope we will be able to play for 90 minutes in two months".

"Three points is an important target for us, we did very well for 75 minutes but inside that, 15 minutes were awful", he said.

"We are very happy because we deserved the victory".

"I want to, not for all the haters, but for me and for Chelsea".

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri admits they've endured a hard preseason.

Hazard came off the bench for Chelsea against Arsenal yesterday with Maurizio Sarri keen to ease him back into the fold.

"Inside there were 15 minutes that were frightful".

Chelsea have made clear to Ruben Loftus-Cheek that he will have opportunities to make his mark in the first team at Stamford Bridge this season and have reiterated their reluctance to sanction another loan move in what remains of the European transfer window.

Maurizio Sarri admitted that Chelsea are not yet at the level of Premier League title challengers despite beating Arsenal 3-2 at Stamford Bridge to continue their ideal start to the new season.

"If we want to defend by looking only at the ball we need to stay very compact and press in the other half".

Does he back himself to make an impact at Chelsea, or move on for regular game time?

"There was never a thought for me to leave", Morata said, quoted by ESPN.

"It is better to be on the pitch than on the bench, but the boys when they are playing did well, so if I'm on the pitch for 15 or 20 minutes, I do my best", he told BT Sport. The players are accustomed to a new broom sweeping clean, but Sarri is also fortunate to have inherited a stronger, better-balanced squad at Chelsea than Emery has found at Arsenal.

Chelsea have been negotiating a new deal with Hazard for some time, though he is yet to sign, causing some fans to fear that he will run down his contract to force through a move just as Thibaut Courtois has done.

"It would be a bit odd for [Chelsea] to let me go and not recruit another player".
